The first Hungarian research project on electoral pledges focused on the relation between campain promises of political parties and the following actual gouvernmental policy. The pilot research project aimed to elaborate the conceptual, methodological framework of the research field in Hungary through the empirical investigation of the national elections in 2002.

The collection contains the databeses of the coded campain promises of the three prominent parties at the time (Fidesz, MSZP, SZDSZ).
